Community Action Agencies across the United States are celebrating Community Action Month - May 2014! In honor of this celebration, and the 50th Anniversary of Community Action, the Tehama County Board of Superviors Proclaimed May 2014 Community Action Month.

Tailgate Food Giveaway & Community Resource Event
When: Friday July 25th - 9am to 12pm
Where: Veterans Hall, Los Molinos CA

Resources available: Information on Tehama County programs to serve low income families and the elderly including LIFT, VITA, recycling, gardening, nutrition and children’s programs.
The event is open to any low-income Tehama County resident in need of food.
Food will be distributed while supplies last. No guarantee is made of adequate supply.
All income is self declared.
Also available: Drought relief food boxes, through Gleaners, for Tehama County residents whose employment is impacted by the drought. Limited supply.

Where: New Life Assembly of God, Corning CA

Tehama Food Share
Any 501(c)3 or faith based organization is invited to participate in Tehama Food Share, which will provide access to low cost food purchases and delivery. If interested in more information call 530-527-6159.
