The Community Action Agency’s Nutrition Education Program, "Get Fresh" provides information, resources, and hands on activities at workshops throughout Tehama County. This program focuses on the key message of low-cost, highly nutritious, fresh and local food, and fitness through behavior modification. Information will include budgeting food expenses, budgeting your caloric intake, and making a fitness budget for time dedicated to fitness activities. In partnership with six local implementing agencies in Tehama County, we collaborate on five county-wide objectives:
1) Eating healthy foods
2) Drinking more water and healthy beverages
3) Increasing physical activity
4) Community access to healthy foods and activities through advocacy and system change
5) Leaving no one hungry, including seniors, with programs to improve responsible budgeting, meal planning, and food programs

Tehama Food Share
Any 501(c)3 or faith based organization is invited to participate in Tehama Food Share, which will provide access to low cost food purchases and delivery. If interested in more information call 530-527-6159.
